Why pursue art? Millions of dollars are spent by both amateur and professional artists to create and collect artworks, both ancient and contemporary. Art is an expression of time, effort, and emotion. It satisfies both in its creation and its viewing—even when it provokes discomfort, it connects to our feelings.
I share my work as a way to keep it in one place, perhaps to inspire you or spark a conversation. If you're interested, feel free to reach out for a commission—whether it's a collage, video, website, graphic, wayfinding system, color consultation, interior design project, or just to chat about art, design, Revit, Adobe programs, or your next renovation. Let's connect and create, as my vision board suggests!

Katrina Dilutions—let’s start there. In 2005, just as life seemed to be going perfectly for Terry and me, Hurricane Katrina’s floodwaters devastated our new home in Gentilly. For nearly four weeks, our home sat submerged, and the aftermath left us with nothing but destruction, mold, and a complete loss of lifestyle.
Living through this devastation was horrifying, but it also gave me a new perspective. Relocating to Little Rock allowed me the time and space to see beauty in the wreckage. The Katrina Dilutions are the result of photographs ruined by the toxic floodwaters. These flooded, mold-ravaged images somehow merged into abstract pieces—deeply spiritual and evocative of God’s hand in the chaos. The colors, shapes, and mystical patterns they formed became a symbol of hope, sparking a community of survivors in Little Rock.
The pieces in the SONOART (Spirit of New Orleans Collection) were salvaged from photographs as small as 1"x1". Some of the images are nearly unrecognizable, but the raw beauty they carry is undeniable—resembling everything from stars and nebulas to rivers and sand. This art wasn’t just a product of water, mold, and photos—it felt like a message, like God was telling us, "Hold on, the best is yet to come." If any of these pieces resonate with you, I’d be happy to provide high-quality prints.

Collage is the ultimate test of compositional skill. Early in my career, I honed precision with X-acto knives, working on 3D models and design boards to better understand my concepts. This experience fueled my passion for 3D design, which later translated into my work with analog collage. For me, these collages are statements on culture, often challenging societal norms and reflecting on our complicated past. Take a moment to interpret the story within the images—then let’s talk!
